Light a Candle - Feed a Child Project

KM Home & Gifts is proud to carry candles from Bridgewater Candle Company and partner with them to make a difference in the lives on children in Haiti. 

The LIGHT A CANDLE - FEED A CHILD project helps to provide meals for children in need.  For every jar candle you purchase, Bridgewater makes a donation to Rice Bowls TM to feed an orphaned child for a day.

A little about Stephen and Dogs Rock...
Dogs Rock was influenced by Stephen Fowler's Wrigley Field neighborhood, where man's best friend seemed to be part of everyone's family.  He hopes his work reminds you of a favorite pet or adds a funky lightheartedness to yoru life. 

Stephen likes rustic and vintage styles and is continuously refinidng and adding complexity to his approach.  He characterized his work as simple yet eclectic, bold and graphic.  Because of the support of Chicagoans, he was able to turn sellings works at the famer's market into a full time gig.

Author and artist Kelly Rae Roberts started her career as a social worker but later decided to follow her heart's passion to become an artist.  After ignoring a yearning for art most of her life, Kelly Rae finally put paint onto paper, and she discovered a whole new world.  Her dream of pursuing art became a reality, and Kelly Rae's work is now collected and cherished worldwide.  Her unique look of layered mixed-media includes acrylics, oils, collage and ink, and her designs are featured in many publications and juried art festivals.  Her art expresses honesty and tenderness while remaining lighthearted and colorful, and she hopes it will strike a chord with others.  "My hope is that my work invokes a sense of clarity and peace inside of you as you walk your own path in life, and that it ispires you to discover your own limitlessness."
